And that’s the point.
Pre II Kimbers were actually very well done pistols with all the bells and whistles at the same price point as Colt 1991 GI. Don’t see many pre II’s go on the market.
Early Taurus were so so but after awhile they were pretty well done for the money especially when compared to Colt price. The Tisas I have handled and shot were quite nice and functioned very well.
Colts have had their issues over the years too. I would rather spend 4-500 bucks on a pistol I might have to dink with than a 900 dollar pistol I will probably have to dink with.
