I’ve been loading for a moderately short time, I’ve found that several of the load recipes I’ve seen end up a little short of filling and end up with a crappy looking caved in crimp. On those load I tried overshot cards and came up with some quite nice crimps.
So now I have questions:
What affects do overshot cards have on compression?
Is there some reason I shouldn’t be using them in this scenario?
Do spreaders have an affect on compression? How much?
