I think Kimber has realized there is a lot more demand for all the variations of pistols they have than for their rifles, so that is where their production is focused.

It's probably interesting to know if the same machines make both - that is if I run machine A for a rifle, does that mean I missed out on making 2 1911s? Dunno.

Is it really capacity or is it basically just margin/want to.
