Been reading a little about the scope of the RESTRICT Act that supposedly 'bans' Tik Tok.

I do believe that Tik Tok and other Chinese entities need to be 'restricted' in the US. However it seems that this act goes way beyond it's purported mission.

It includes limits on FOIA, access to user data, limits on VPNs, and penalties of up to $1M and 20 years in prison for violations.
