Whichever shoots better will work perfect. I have seen them done in with 100 ttsx with no problems.
I'm surprised at a lot of these responses. I don't have a 7mm Rem Mag, but I do have a 270 Win and 270 Weatherby Mag. in my 270 Win I shoot 150g Partitions at 3000 fps. The 270 Bee gets 3250 fps with the same bullet. Both the 150g TSX and A-Frames are every bit as good if not better, but I wonder why you would shoot any bullet under 140g out of a 7mm Mag for elk. Not saying it won't work but not sure why you would do it.
