A few weeks ago my buddy’s wife called me and asked if I could get a hunt together for his 50th bday present…. A surprise gift for him.
Over a couple of cool beverages I started talking hunting and what hunt would he like to do… he said a good elk hunt. He has no points anywhere so odds of us drawing anywhere good are slim.
I’ve been on exactly one guided elk hunt ever and that was nearly 30 years ago. I wasn’t impressed. I’ve probably hunted them 8-10 times do it yourself since then.
Any recommendations on guides greatly appreciated.
