Just got the old Silverado out of the barn to check things and limber it up for a run, and found that the glass part on a side mirror is coming loose. It’s one of those motor-adjustable setups and I have almost no experience with those.

It looks as though the glass was glued to the mechanism behind it and meant to be replaceable without taking the whole assembly apart. Is this likely the case?.

If so, maybe should not use some heavy duty epoxy to re-stick it and am thinking about something like E6000. Have you done this – and with what? Knowledgeable recommendations out there?
