Over the years, I bought a number of guns and accessories there, plus they carried a tremendous stock of parts for hundreds of different firearms. I used to buy hard-to-find Colt factory parts for my Colt Single Action percussion pistols there. Whatever I needed, Rettings had them. They had a great selection of new and used firearms, plus some very collectable guns.

"Gone beaver,"as they say. Not many gun stores left in the Los Angeles area, anymore. The way of things in Liberalville.

Retting was only a few miles away from my house when I lived in LA in the 80s. It was great fun to spend an hour and fondle the hundreds of used guns on the floor racks. I still have the 1954 Savage 99 EG chambered in 6mm-.22-.250 that I purchased there.

Thanks for posting. Brought back some memories not often thought about.
