This is a Siamese Mauser converted to 45-70. This was a very common conversion in the 1970s-80s. All the hard and expensive work has been done on this one. Tapped and drilled and has scope bases. 3-position Winchester style safety, Timney trigger at about 3.5# and its threaded 5/8x24 with a 18" barrel. Floor plate engraved "Hog Stomper" (not done by me). Has some handling marks and dings here and there and a discoloration in blue finish around action from where a wheeler style rear sight used to be attached.
