Finally after a few years of monkeying around to my faux Remington 270win mtn setup I got it mostly set up. Started with some blue box stuff to get the zero established in a couple shots. Went to work with some component load I ended up putting together. Aquired some Federal 270 Terminal ascent components awhile back and tried these today. Basically just a 200yd zero and the paper work went down just fine so moved onto animals and finally onto the 500yd hangers.

In the pics you can see fog and it was really still and it made it difficult to see but it made super easy peasy wind call which was at most 1mph to zero. Fog was annoying but actually helped out.

Anyway, finally got this going and next is more field work and u supported and ill have two 270win rigs ready to roll. I do have an 6.5x284 setup that need to be confirmed and have an optic mounted but I might just forget that project and give it up because I probably don't need it.
