I shot the Glock 36 .45 ACP on paper today to check elevation with 230 FMJ and high-performance JHP self-defense loads of different weights. All shots at 20 yards. Shot standard pressure S&B 230 FMJs and Sierra 185 Outdoor Master JHPs. I also shot Speer Gold Dot +P 200gr and Federal HST +P 230s. Everything grouped very acceptably but the star was the Speer Gold Dots that grouped at about 2” for 5 shots. All that said, everything grouped a bit high. Tonight I ordered a new recoil spring, 2x OEM mags, a 3.5lb trigger connector that will result in a 4-4.5lb trigger pull, and OEM steel sights that will lower POI 2”-3”. Life is good.
