Regarding the reticle options available. I recently got a 3-9x40 Conquest with a 4A reticle and had the opportunity to use it for the first time in a real hunting situation. I was very surprised at the ease at which I was able to acquire and track a seriously spooked buck running full speed across a slope about 60 yards in front of me.
I would not hesitate to recommend this reticle to anyone for use on a hunting gun. Easy to see in low light as well.
