I'm retired but still have the 5-6 beers in the afternoon during a time that I was once just home from work. Then some supper.

The extra joy comes afterward. Cocktails till bedtime, whenever that might be. I stay away from the really cheap, &/or corn based Vodka that doesn't suit me. After that, if I feel bad the next day it's because I've over indulged, or didn't eat enough. Not hard to regulate.
