One of the guys taped a can with a pound or so of Tannerite on the back of the plywood and the a target on the front. This was the first day of the season and another guy showed up and needed to check his rifle. When he shot there was the expected explosion and the shooter looked up from the bench with a WTF? look and the only thing left standing in the target area was the 4 X 4’s. 😊

Now that's funny.

We're not allowed to use tannerite at our ranges. I'd expect they would do a careful review of the CCTV footage if this happened.
