I don’t think he’s trying to lie this time. He just doesn’t know where he is. I think he confused the Key Bridge with the Susquehanna River Rail Bridge. I’m sure as hell not trying to defend him, he lies about everything else but this time he’s confused. Most people wouldn’t know the difference if they didn’t know the area.
This is normal thinking and talk with dementia. He has absolutely no business being in his chair. He's completely spaced. He's a born liar but this is a physical problem that can't be fixed.
