Finally got my new 308 to the range over the weekend, didn't really have much chance to wring out the new Leupold 4HD FFP MOAR other than sight it in but I'm overall please with the scope and rifle build. Regarding the scope, it's my first FFP and since I kept it on 10x the entire time, I can't really say much about FFP but I do like the reticle as it gave me a fine aiming point that is a bit more fine than the Duplex I typically use.

I had one box of Hornady Match ammo that I used for sighting-in and seeing what the rifle was capable of and one box of Hornady Spire Point, 165, that I use for hunting. My best three shot group with Match ammo was .433" and when I ran out of Match ammo, I decided to see where the 165 HPS would land on the target.

Much to my surprise, the HSP ammo had a very similar POA, no adjustments needed but more interesting, the HSP ammo produced the best group of the day at .2913". In building this rifle (DIY pre-fit, Proof, Defiance Tenacity, McMillan, Hawkins, TriggerTech, ARC) I was thinking more long range target, especially with the scope choice, but I'd like to try it Whitetail this fall.
