An expert commission of election and computer experts was formed by our current Secretary of State, Kevin Shelley (A Dem. and Davis cohort) to plan the replacement of outdated voting methods. The Chairperson of this commission in a radio interview today said that their recommendation was to continue to use current methods until better computer systems were available since they deemed currently available systems inferior to the old methods on multiple counts.

Secretary Shelly rejected the commission's reccommendations and disbanded them.
