The cost of a whole new rifle should not be required to hunt in Africa. Using the rifle of a friend, hunting partner on the same trip, or a quality outfitter that will provide them and the ammo at no charge is certainly better then not going at all.
My H&H has been to RSA twice now. I've only made it there once. Sigh....
