Is the Turk strong enough for the 270WCF? Yes.

Is this a smart idea? No. The magazine is too short for the 270, and lengthening it requires the feed ramp to be cut back. The front side of the feed ramp is the buttress for the lower locking lug.

Recommend you stick with a 57 mm case, the length of the original 8 mm.
