Still, thats even more impressive that the Savage engineers were able to create the 1903, 1914, and autoloading 1912 from quite a few similar parts.

Its also a tribute to Savage that Remington went hammerless for their slide-action rimfire and Winchester created a whole new hammerless model to supplant the 1890/1906.

Savages are insanely underrated
