how much are you grinding at a time with the 1.5 ?
Last fall we butchered two elk and ran all the burger meat through it, with no heating up or any other, problems.
We've done one elk or one to two deer at a time, also. Plus we have ground and mixed and stuffed maybe 100 pounds of meat into sausage at a time.
