I have a Nylon 76 that has lots and lots of miles on it. Somewhere along the way, the bottom 'rail' on one side of the receiver broke. Has anyone ever found a fix for Nylon Remington stocks, in particular, the 76? Remington only answered that they have no parts for this rifle. I rarely use it due to the break but don't want to part with it. I got my 76 in about 1964 and it has earned it's place in the safe. Since the stock is the receiver, it does present a predicament about replacement, but only if I can find a new stock. While I'll expect an answer from an expert, I'll cheerfully accept answers from duffers like myself.
