I received the latest addition of CHS's Huntin Fool magazine and I was surprised to see that the backpacks they now list as "endorsed products" are by eberlestock and blacks creek Bone Collector series.
I'm curious if this is just a case of who'll pay the most to advertise or if these products are really any better. Mystery Ranch had been advertising with them heavily in the past and I'm curious to see if they've been replaced. I have serious doubts that EB and black creek are the best pack companies out there. I looked up the bone collector that they are promoting as a daypack/1-2 nighter (3100 inches) weighs in at 8.13lbs with side pockets.
I'm not trying to be negative and I'm not connected to any company,....just curious how much unbiased endorsement I'm getting for my $100.
