I posted this here as it sort of a specialty long range load for you other 308 fans out there.

I'm doing some testing with this combo. So far just running up the pressure to see where indicators start to show. I ran out of room for powder before finding excess pressure, but suspect I got fairly close.

Here are some chrono results. I only shot two rounds of each charge. spreads were all within 10 fps, about half within 5 fps. Small sampling, but looks promising for consistency.

Win Brass, fireformed, neck-sized
CCI 200 primer
20.5" bbl, 1/12 twist. (Rem chamber/throat)

208 AMax (moly'd)
3.00" OAL (kissing lands)
RL-17
46 gr - 2380 fps (velocities 15 feet from muzzle)
47 gr - 2430 fps
48 gr - 2480 fps
49 gr - 2535 fps
50 gr - 2570 fps
51 gr - 2645 fps

Here's the Crash Test Dummy with some loads prepped for chrono/pressure analysis, 49-51 gr RL17.

I'm going to load up a few charged with 51gr/2650 fps and see how they look on paper and at distance. It's a single shot load for now, I'll be keeping an eye open for Glen's ADL floorplate/magazine.
