I bought my son a Henry Mini Bolt some seven years ago. It was nearing Christmas and none of the little rifles were to be found to look at. I fell for a description in a magazine article. It was stainless with a synthetic stock, so I expected it to be pretty much impervious to all weather. I anticipated generations of grandsons with a family heirloom.

The fiber optic sight broke the first time we had it out. He used it a time or two, though the fiber would fall out of the sight every few shots. It pissed me off; the dealer wouldn't do anything about it. We had already had it out; he tried to charge me more than the MSRP. So, it ended up in the back of the safe and I vowed to never by another Henry.

For some reason I stumbled on their site a week or so ago and read about their "legendary customer service" and commitment to quality. I sent an email (without the drama) and had a new sight in about a week. I should have contacted them a long time ago, but I don't remember such an interactive site at the time. Good on them.
