I got one of these for christmas when I was 12, 1972 I think.
Gave it to my daughter when she was 12.
Always kept it in my safe and used it when I needed it, but it was hers.
This fall when she returned to school, she asked to take it with her so that she could shoot it at the range when her and her boyfriend went. She also has a Kahr P-9, a ruger single six and a rem 1100 .20ga.
Needless to say, I never anticipated that day. Now I needed to replace that rifle. Bought a Savage Mark II to fill the void. Shoots real nice but it not my old savage anschutz 184 sporter, you know what I mean. Maybe in time.
Long story short, I have been tracking these for a WHILE and feel you could probably get $550 or more depending on condition unless it is less than very good. The last time I bought an extra magazine it was $35-40, probably more today. Needless to say I would like to get another for me, and will keep looking, but if you ever feel like selling give me a call (so to speak). I am an Illinois resident so it could be a real easy transfer.
