I live on the Central Coast of California and I am bird hunting four different western states this year. I have property that is completey fenced to contain dogs. I could use another GSP. Contact me if needed.

On the other hand: What would you do if you lost a dog while hunting? My suggestion would be to stop and wait for the dog to find you. I aways leave a full water bowel at the truck. Never had a dog that couldn't find their way back to the truck. Never had a dog that couldn't find me. Every time I have ever lost a dog, the only one that was lost was me not my dog:-)= My dog always knew were I was. The California Highway Patrol will tell you most all dead dogs along the highway have fallen out of a truck. This GSP could have fallen out of a truck while in route and the owner never knew where. One thing we will never know is how much alcohol was involved in this poor dogs misadventure. Sure seems as though his luck has changed.
