Still no deer to try it on frown ah well, I got wed-sun to hunt hard and see if I can get a nice specimen to try it out on.

The knife came with a sharpening "stick"; some abrasive stone, not sure of the grit.

I had better luck using the diamond stone on the pocket sharpener I got from WalMart. The end is the hardest to sharpen with that curved blade section.

Also, what makes it even harder, is the angle of the blade bevel. That curved end has an angle like \/, its very wedge like. If I can't get it to get a sharp edge, I may see about filing/grinding down that wedge into a more enlongated taper; maybe that will help.
