Why??

It wasn't a first rate stock, it was the slabs leftover and glued together. 9 out of 10 of them had putty or expoxy added to hide zits that got sawed out too, if you knew where to look.

Those guys at Kilamanjaro sure did Mel proud. His stocks were butt ugly. If you're ever in the area, stop in and meet Gene Gordner. Gene (the singin' cowboy) is perhaps the single most interesting indevidual on the planet. I hope he writes a book someday.
