Might just do it. The 26" tube is a little much.
It will definitly fall in the category of "messing with success" though. As well as "if it ain't broke don't fix it".
I've thought about the accuracy as well, but I'm doing it anyway. May have to tweek the load a bit when I get it back.
My guy up here charges $40 to cut and crown with a recessed crown like the factory one...
