Taurus,The stainless guidegun in 45-70 won't be available until at least April.Marlin hasn't announced any plans for a 1895ss(22")<BR>version yet,but i would geuss within a year or so if the stainless guidegun sells well,which i think it will.Get what you want,not what others want you to have.If you like the stainless and/or need a stainless because of wet climate hold out a little longer.I'm sure the stainless will sell very fast and they will be hard to find for quite awhile.~~~~~~~tom
