I am just saying that regardless of who you are, and how much education you have, and how many degrees and awards and prizes you have, you better have your ducks in a row when you post or you are going to get eaten alive and spit out on the internet.
In regards to otters. I knew rougly what they did in the winter but was hoping some trappers would pitch in because they are the only people who spend time with wildife in the winter woods.
I used to know lots of these old timers in Canada who couldn't write well or string a sentence together but if you got talking to them while sitting on a beaver dam they knew so much detail that it was kind of like talking to a kind of genius.
The only similar people I have met are African trackers. They can't explain what they are doing but they are sure good at it.
