I had a 338-06 that shot well with factory pin, I switched to Callahan lightweight and accuracy was the same but I had a few misfires with shallow primer indentations. Swapped back to factory. I then swapped the bolt out for a stainless one and put the callahan back in it and it seems to shoot fine now and have not had any misfires. I put another on a Rem 30-06 Mountain rifle and have had no problems with it.
