Yes, I have shot a 44. It was a superblack hawk with the 7 1/2-inch barrel. I think I will probably go with a shorter barrel (as this will primarily be a back up gun) and I don't want to lug around any more than I have to. I am probably going to get the bisley with the short barrel and have Ashley express sights and a big dot front sight added.
