Good call Ray, but I don't have any of those medium bores between my .30-06 and my .375, and it's likely to be a while before I spring for the big African Cape Buff trip, so meanwhile, I'm having fun turning this .375 loose on our elk, bear & even mule deer here in the Pacific Northwest. Hence the interest in 260 - 270 gr bullets.

Am pretty sure these 270 RN's are old Hornady bullets. I've had several buddies who used to hunt with a .375 sell me their loading supplies at great prices, but it's led to me having quite a variety of different bullets on hand. I'd really rather just have one bullet for the rifle and will eventually work my way there as I shoot up all these other odds and ends.
