Absolutely! Tudor Howard-Davies, former editor of the South African Man/Magnum magazine (one of my favorites) sent me an article he had written that proposed that the 30-06 coupled with the .375 H & H was the perfect African combo. With 180 and 300 grain bullets, he demonstrated that both shot with the same trajectory. I'd say with TSX's, do the 165's and 270's, and you will have a marvelous time.
