It takes a 200 fps increase to extend the point blank range by 25 yards. You can confirm this on any of the ballistic programs. How much gain in velocity do you expect? How many yards is that? Have you answered your own question yet? Deep seating of the bullet ain't as big a bug-a-boo as it's made out to be. A 4% loss in capacity will only result in a 1% loss of velocity.
