I have a M1917 Eddystone that has been sporterized, but it never had scope mounts installed. The rear site has been ground off and the action was rounded to match the front of the receiver. I know these things have been sporterized for 80 years and I'm wondering what mounts work best for the contour of the action.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.
