We do have a nice spread here. We have a 260 cow dairy milked three times a day plus raise all the necesary crops. Like alot of things though the process of making it go keeps you from smelling the roses so to speak. Non the less I do enjoy it.

I have taken a few calling this year but these were just passing through. Including my son's I've taken 5 this way in the past two weeks. Their activity level seems to have gone up a notch and I'm not giving them any second chances. As you can see we have quite a open hillside in the back. It is about a thousand yards to where the trees start at the top. When a coyote is spotted basically it is like a fire alarm going off and one of us out there pretty quick. Basically it is a race between my son and I.
