I don't think caliber or cartridge matter as much as having a fast handling rifle. The few times I've hunted wolves I've had another tag in my pocket so the caliber choice was based on that. I've seen WAY more moving wolves than ones standing and waiting to be shot. They're slippery bastids once they been hunted much.

Politicians and Diapers both need to be changed often, and for the same reason!
