I agree with John.
<br>Out of the box adding only a simple Bushnell 4X Sportview scope.
<br>My 9 year old will make sub 1/4" mickey mouse heads with my Marlin Model 70 all day long at 50 to 75 yards.
<br>If you have a older Ruger they are good but I gave up after trying the newer 10/22s. My 10/22s with the same scope could not do as good. Only maybe 1" was the best if everything was perfect. Eventually I sold off all my 10/22s for bolt actions.
<br>On the other hand thats not bad and the 10/22 will feed rocks reliably.
