Good friend of mine does most of his hunting with two M70 Classic 30-06's..

He has one sighted in with 125 GR cartridges and uses it for everything from coyotes and other varmints up through Whitetail deer sized game. Those little 125 GR pills are poison on game up to the size of antelope and deer.

The second is sighted in with 180 GR Partitions and is used for heavier game such as elk, moose and bear.

In a worse case situation either one could be resighted in with either heavier or lighter weight bullets.
