Like Telly

Mine was purchased in the early 70s. It is in .270. I think it was Winchesters answer to the Rem BDL. Mine shoots fine. The sights came off of mine almost immediately. I stripped the screw on the plastic adjustable rear sight. I do remember the front being hooded. I went with a scope and put filler screws where the sights were. They are still around here somewhere...

This is a variation of the post �64 rifle the gun writers loved to hate. It has the push feed bolt and plain pressed checkered stock. So I guess this would make it a cheaper version of the already cheapend pre-64 M70. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
