I use bullets that best defines the preferred affect on game.

For hogs and elk, I kinda like as much carnage to the vitals as possible, which in turn drops `em fast.

Berger 30 cal 168 and 175 hunting VLDs for 50+ hogs, and a 30 cal 190 "hunting" VLD for one bull elk. They have performed extremely well so far.
