I have just one '92. It takes too much time to research and find all the provenance on these to have many more. This one was made in 1901 and shipped to Bozeman, Montana, where it ended up sold by the Montana Armory, a gun store in Bozeman from 1884-1914.

I have pictures of the store in an early location as well as a late location on Main Street in Bozeman. I also got a copy directly from the log book at Winchester showing the rifle and what order it was shipped.

There is the "Montana Armory" Stamp on the stock, which is rare and what made me want this particular gun. It is in good shape overall and I shoot it once in awhile as it is too hard to take all the Winchesters and shoot them.

The picture of it on the granite marker is where John Bozeman was killed by indians in 1865, along the Yellowstone River between Livingston and Big Timber, Montana.
