The barrel appears to be 17.5 inches and overall the metal on this gun is pretty good.

Wood is another story as some bad gouges in the butt stock and a cracked forend. The buttstock is also badly blistered the last three inches but it's still functional and could be a fantastic truck gun for the right guy.

I took it out and fired it only for function and it cycled just fine but the action seems gummy and I'm not expert on this semi auto and won't oil it ....I'll describe it as I just did. I did have to manually close the bolt a couple times as it just seemed to not want to close but other than that there was no malfunctions in the twenty rounds I fired. When I manually closed the bolt it pushed easily but resembled a "gummy" action.

I was using light loads intended for my Savage 99 which I always load lightly. I believe factory loads and proper lubing of the action will make this thing sing like a bird.

The front sight is altered as well and will function as is but if I was going to use it, I'd install a new sight.

The elevator for the rear sight is also missing.

I'll post photos in a bit but for now asking $325 plus $25 shipping to lower 47....(this excludes California)

Buyer will have five days after taking delivery to test fire and convince himself it's worth his money! If you want to return it I'll go 50-50 with the freight unless it's not as advertised then I'll go 100 %
