So I had intended to just keep this gun and buy a case that would allow me to tote it fully cased to where I hunt, but when I sent int here yesterday with my DPMS, I was again reminded that this is just not the gun for that particular place! Pile that with getting to shoot my bud's new 5.56 AR...and I again think that I really should sell this and buy/build what I want, right? So...I am going to suck it up and make the lowest low-ball offer on this gun, as follows:
Kimber 8400 Select model with gorgeous wood as you can see and have seen. these are the best pics I could get of it. $800 + ship. Gun has Leupold 2-piece bases and extension/high 1" rings. This is absolutely the best deal that you will ever see on this (or any similar Kimber rifle), period, and I am taking a $100 beating on it. If you are intersted, the scope is a Pentax/Burris 4.5x14 x 50mm. It will only be sold with the rifle - if you do not want it with the gun, then it goes on the next gun.
