we killed a doe, a good 10 and a raggedy one horned two pointer on our place in Smyth fri/sat. deer are really spread out in the mountains, and herded up on the farm. not much for them to eat up high.
i watched about a dozen + deer in a field for a couple hours friday evening. 10-12 does and 2 bucks right with them, just feeding. no chasing at all.
some scattered scrapes, but not many.
