All my new Kimbers have the same sharp edge that scratches the brass. A few passes with some steel wool or sandpaper, plus running several hundred rounds through the rifle, takes care of it. I figure they must have good machining equipment to cut the edges so precisely.
That may be the case............if so their QC sucks!
