If you spend a little extra and get the Norma 300WSM brass it will last for the life of the gun and is very good brass. with the 7.82 Patriot you are stuck with an out dated philosophy and junky proprietary brass...not even a contest.
Your post should be 300 WSM vs.300WM (still great after all these years).
